I have eaten several times in this restaurant, and the experience has never been less than first class.The "Terre et Mer" menu is excellent value at 28.50€, and it comes with all the trimmings of a high class establishment (amuse-bouche, pré-dessert, mignardises [these being the one possible weakness of the meal]). The low-temperature "seiche" (a member of the squid family) was a revelation for its exquisite tenderness. The Iberico pork fillet was also very good, as was the chocolate tart with chocolate fondant.The wine list is extensive, with mostly reasonable mark ups.Service was friendly and attentive.An excellent experience all around, of Michelin star standard in my view, but without the obligatory gimmicks that go with the territory, like describing the dishes when they come to the table; well, I can do without these, thank you.
the heoirie has very good reputation on angers, however is in my opinion very far from what can be expected of a gastronomic type restaurant. The setting is pleasant, the menu presented on ipad more nice, the presentation of the nice dishes. The service is inegal, some do their work well other make inegal mistakes (passing the arm in front of the guest to resserve bread while he wears the fork in the mouth and still has bread...).The biggest disappointment comes from the badly granted flavors, which only superimpose and not associate. very disappointed, especially at this rate.
we go there regularly as a couple, for a moment of calm and to feast our senses. a fine kitchen in a quiet setting with terrace. the service is pro and worthy of the great establishments. the dishes made, but not too much, make the happiness of our taste buds. the wine menu is varied and affordable. for lunch or dinner, I recommend it to you.
