Lia's - Reservar una mesa

We used to go to Lia's quite frequently, but moved away from the area. We returned again recently. I ordered the Sunday Gravy Special which was a salad, pasta and dessert for $30. When ordering, I said that I didn't want/need the dessert, and the waitress said fine, we'll just bring you the salad and main. When the bill arrived, I was charged $35 for the 2 items (their regular prices). I asked the waitress why I was charged the full prices instead of the Special (which I ordered), she replied that the Special didn't apply since I didn't have the dessert. I then went to see the manager, who acknowledged that the waitress should have been clear that unless I got all 3 items, the Special pricin...

I ordered the shrimp scampi which I had had at Chef Geoff's where it was wonderful. Unfortunately my order came after having been under the heat lamps ? for way too long. A lot of the top noodles were totally dried out and almost no sauce. I hated to do it, but I did ask for another one which came pretty quickly and was totally perfect. The strawberry shortcake had only one sliced strawberry a disappointment. But improve Lias and have been there quite often and imlook forward to My next visit.

A friend and I wanted a leisurely lunch. It was quiet so that we could easily talk. The service was pleasant and attentive. We both had hamburgers and loved them. The menu had plenty of choices and the possibility to leave off an ingredient, like no cheese.

Food was very good . Table was a bit tight for our group and even the hostess felt something seemed off. Noise level was a bit high which could make it difficult for those with hearing difficulties

Good food. Prompt service. Couple minor points: the table was rather small, a little tight. And the red wine is not stored properly...too warm. Food was very good, and server was very attentive.
