Lia's Pizzeria Franklin Square

So far all I had was regular pizza, but it was perfect. Hadn't had a good slice in years due to being out of state, but when I tasted their pizza I new I was eating real mozzarella made for pizzas, just enough density and pull. The sauce was perfect for a pie, not spicy, not watered down. The crust was crunchy on the outside and had the prefect chew. The crew was friendly too. This Italian American, who grew up eating Long Island pizza, is going back for more. More pizza plus calzones, heroes, maybe some shrimp Parmesan. Thank you for bringing back memories of my childhood. As long as I'm in NY, I'll eat at Lia's Pizzeria in Franklin Square.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it didn’t go well. I specifically requested that half of the pizza have mushrooms, but not only were the mushrooms undercooked, they covered more than half of the pizza. What if someone had an allergy? Additionally, the slices weren’t even cut, and there was barely any sauce beneath the cheese. Everything felt very rushed, and I was extremely disappointed given the price I paid.

Not the greatest pizzeria in the area. I had the grandma slice and it was not bad, but not great either. The pepperoni wheel was a bit too oily and cheesy for me. It was interesting to me how I came during the winter and they had their doors open so it was freezing inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back. The service wasn't great, the pizza wasn't impressive and it just wasn't a good experience.

This place might as well be called "Liars." I went in to work for a few hours, and when my boss sent me home for the day, he promised he would text me with the schedule. Instead, he completely ignored me and eventually let me know he was trying out three more people. Now I have only $2.97 to my name. So much for my Thanksgiving. Thanks a lot, Liars. Good service and good pizza. Order take out a lot from here when visiting the village. I recommend the Buffalo chicken and Chicken Bacon Ranch. The slices are huge and they have good prices. On top of that I’m always in and out very little wait.

Excellent food and service! I love their wings, and the pizza is consistently delicious. It's a very friendly, family-style restaurant where the staff often greets regulars by name when they come back to order. I highly recommend it!
