We had a great experience choosing a birthday cake at Lido. We were unsure what to order, but they were very kind and patient with us and took the time to explain all the different flavors and sizes. We ended up buy the Almond Roca cake because two employees said it was their favorite. The cake was fantastic and a huge hit at the party. They wrote Happy Birthday on the cake too. While we were there, we bought a few other pastries to try and also a slice of the Almond Roca cake. EVERYTHING was soooo good! Definitely worthy of 5 stars!! Also, there was plenty of parking in front of the store. We found this place by asking locals what their favorite bakery is and Lido was mentioned many times....
I sampled the dulce de leche cookies, which were fantastic—definitely my favorite, and I’m happy they made them just right. The horn-shaped pastry was also delicious, filled with a fruit jam that struck a nice balance—not too sweet and not too tart, which complemented the pastry perfectly. The chocolate pastry was equally delightful, containing some nuts inside. I can’t remember the name of the other pastry, but the puff-shaped one was definitely a must-try! It had a lovely puff pastry with a filling that had a hint of lemon. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to return!
Nice staff. I got the coconut cream slice and I thought it was solid it wasn’t sweet but too much cream I think one layer would’ve been perfect. The cake was moist but also dry at the same time. The cheesecake had an interesting taste it wasn’t like a New York style I tasted a very small lemon zesty taste and it was really dense. I got two slices and paid $20 in total. I thought it was expensive for a slice but they are big so it does make up for the money spent. Two people can share a slice. It was good but didn’t exceed my expectations to want to come again.
We were having a quinceanera for my daughter and my niece. They each had their individual ideas of what they wanted for their cakes. Lido was able to put that vision into reality and perfectly tie in the theme across the four cakes we ordered. The cakes were visually gorgeous and absolutely delicious. This is our first time using the bakery, which was recommended by the venue where the party was held. (Side note we also tried their tiramisu and brownies when we visited the bakery to place our cake order also all delicious!

I also ordered a piece of the berry cake, and unfortunately, it had a similar grainy texture. Personally, I prefer my cakes to be smooth and moist, and neither of these cakes met that standard. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to Lido Bakery. I’ll stick with Torrance Bakery, where I usually find cakes that suit my taste. I tried Lido because it’s closer to home, but I’ll be heading back to Torrance Bakery from now on.
Absolutely obsessed! He did the unicorn cake for my daughter's birthday. It was gorgeous, but more importantly, it was DELICIOUS! I'm so used to pretty cakes tasting like trash, I took one bite because I was on a diet and I just had to have my own slice. It was incredible. We went with yellow cake with strawberry whipped cream inside. It was so moist and soooo yummy!
Our family’s favorite spot for cakes! The classic chocolate cake here is simply irresistible and is my top choice. Recently, Ernesto made my husband’s birthday even more memorable with a fantastic golf-themed cake. Thank you, Lido, for being part of our special celebrations!
The best pastries ever. Scones are delicious they are so good they sell out everyday! Try them they are delicious!
