Lightfoot - Reserva de mesa

My wife and I decided to try the Lightfoot restaurant for the first time on our 16th wedding anniversary. We found it in a google search for fine dining in Northern Virginia and then one of our co-workers vouched for the restaurant. At the restaurant, we had to park at one of the free public parking areas in the rain less than half a mile away, but we didn't have a problem with that since we had an umbrella. We were greeted by a manager (we presume he was a manager since he was seen everywhere in the restaurant after he sat us down). The manager was personable with us as he sat us down and before he walked away from our table. He even came back by to check on us 2 more times before we left....

had a wonderful dinner tonight. we arrived early at 5 and needed no reservation. however, as we left, it was always crowded, so I would definitely recommend reservations for dinner. the host was pleasant and checked my coat kindly. the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the celebrations that only emphasize the ambiente. it was a bank many years ago and even though they were rebuilt for a restaurant, they held much of the original inside intact. the menu is very diverse and includes vegetarian options. the wine list is quite extensive with a varied selection. we ordered 2 entrees and had the kitchen separated so that we could both share the dishes. the salmon was perfect and the pasta w...

on the menu of lightfoot is the American food with French accents. housed in a former bank building, the atmosphere is great, even imposing, but the staff is friendly and warm. I can see how this would be a great place for a special occasion. we were just for a normal Sunday dinner. we started with the virginia ham cookies that are mouthwater, tender, spicy and simply delicious. the meal went from strength to strength with perfectly prepared and presented main courses. we tried the Streak salad, the fried chicken and the French wobbly soup all delicious. for dessert butterscotch bananenbrotpudding and the sunflower speciality plus the fabulous chocolate pudding hit the place, fill the last r...

We had a fantastic brunch! The cheddar biscuits were outstanding, and there were plenty of brunch options to choose from. I enjoyed the smoked trout mousse on a bagel, which was delicious. Amazing and delicious. The menu is always changing and every time it 's awesome. They have a great special selection which I highly recommend you try. The staff is also really attentive. There is parking right behind the rest so you don 't have to travel far. The one complaint is the wine selection needs a little work

Cool vibe in historic bank and really excellent menu. Everything we ate was fantastic crab dip, scallops, meatball appetizer, grilled cheese, and pumpkin brownie dessert and I want to come back to try more. One downside is that they seemed understaffed for the space and the crowd that occupied that space.

Came here for dinner and had a wonderful time. It’s been over 10 yrs since the last time we came and it was just as good as we remembered. Ordered a few appetizers (fr onion soup , green tomatoes) and we each got fish (salmon and sea bass special). No room for desert this time.

was really delicious brunch late on a Sunday. slightly different they take the usual foods. few criticism of taste or salt is missing here and there, but we ate everything. comes back to try more. large atmosphere with distance and music was around, but not on them. Reserva una mesa ahora

The atmosphere is incredible, featuring a beautiful building full of character from its past. The old-fashioned hospitality and service are excellent, with well-trained staff. The food was tasty and the portions were quite generous!

The atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic. The prices were very reasonable, and the steak was cooked to perfection.
