I asked if they could put that on their website, FB page, etc.Yes, I saw the reservation only sign on the door, but most places are cool with a to go order. Excellent food! Waitress, cook and any staff members we encountered were very friendly. So many great choices so we are definitely going back to try something new. Prices were cheaper than we expected. We had the lunch fish and chips, but I watched as other customers got their food and I said I am going to try that. Sometimes food is just what you eat when you're hungry...this was a great experience
Wow! I am so glad we stumbled in to this place. Very delicious dinner rib steak and prawns, wonderful and attentive service, clean roomy and comfortable dining room. Very friendly our dinner to celebrate three family birthdays was just perfect thank you Lighthouse Bistro! We’ll see you again.
Definitely one of the better places in Westport. You'll want reservations if you go for dinner. I had the halibut burger from their lunch menu and it was very good. Their fries are handcut in house. Wine selection is mediocre, but the quality of the locally sourced food makes up for it.

The owners are actually, honestly crazy abusive and make fun of people for dying on their Facebook. It's wild. They also ridicule any customers that have a legitimate grievance. Go look at any of their responses to low reviews here and witness my point. Don't eat here.
owner Shawn is a complete post. throws fits yells cursed out girls that work for him. and harasses the girls outside of work. completely unprofessional as a business owner. he should be turned in and shut down
Great food and great service, even though they were busy! Calamari was cooked perfectly. Mushroom Burger and fish and chip were good nice fresh cut fries.. Will definitely return.
Enjoyed a nice dinner with family. Good atmosphere with generous portions and attentive service. Call for reservations to make sure they aren't booked up.
