One of my favorite cocktail bars in San Francisco.I've never had a cocktail here I didn't love. As of December 2022, my favorite cocktail is the Evening Dram, which features a high proof bourbon, oloroso sherry, dry curacao, chynar, maple, and candy cap mushroom) bitters, barrel aged with a solera system. Truly magnificent. $18)Mixologists are friendly and skilled. They are happy to create a custom cocktail for you based on your mood and preferences.It's very small about 10 seats), so I recommend going at off hours during the weekdays. Located on the small Linden alley in Hayes Valley, near Civic Center. Great for a drink after an opera, symphony, or ballet show.
Closed when we tried to stop by on a Saturday, waited almost 30 minutes thinking they might open. I saw they responded to a couple of these reviews saying they posted notice on their site and IG — website has no mention of being closed and IG posted a story about reopening only after these reviews were posted. Would like to try again if opening hours are posted somewhere.
I happened to discover this bar by chance, and the bartenders were incredibly friendly, crafting some amazing cocktails. The "martini of the month" was possibly one of the best drinks I've ever tasted. I highly recommend dropping by for a drink if you're in the area, but do keep in mind that it's a bit cramped.
amazing drinks! the cocktail i got came with a shortbread cookie made by the pastry chefs at night bird. even the cookie was top tier. loved the unique glasses for each drink. tiny bar, good for talking to one person, only standing room.

The cocktails were exceptional, and the restaurant has a strict policy allowing a maximum of four people per group, which kept the atmosphere from feeling crowded or noisy. The staff was also very courteous.

I absolutely love this place! It has a cozy atmosphere with just 8 seats, which makes it feel very intimate. The cocktails are excellent and incredibly creative.
