There was a lovely hostess who has worked there for 26 years, but the waitress who served our food was terrible. She was rude and had a very unpleasant attitude. When the nice hostess passed by, I inquired how it was possible for her to be so kind while the other waitress was so unfriendly. All she did was smile kindly.

This place is lost in time. Your basic greasy spoon diner that serves really good home cooked meals for super cheap. I had the two pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans for $10.50. Anywhere else would be double that for the same meal. Looks like the decor has not changed since it opened (1970’s? and the clientele were all seniors. Good place to eat if you are on a fixed income. Service was fine but the tables are fairly packed together making it feel a bit cramped. Ignore reviews that claim they were overcharged. We were here from out of town for a car show at the Gap and everyone wanted to talk to us about that and we're friendly in doing so. My husband and I are visiting here from SC. I googled restaurants and saw this one and we decided to try it because of the ratings and WOW our food was awesome! My roast beef sandwich could not have been better. AND they had Graham Cracker Cream pie! I haven't had that in 50 years. Great food, good service and a great price. I highly recommend Lindy's!
Cute little diner. The food was delicious and homemade. Definitely recommend getting off the highway for this place!
It was merely average. I didn't get the impression that anything was made from scratch.
