Ling's International

We had read so many good reviews about this place so thought we would give it a try. One of the main points is that it was massively understaffed. Only two waiting staff which resulted in meals coming out at different times, waiting for rice to go with mains, and waiting an eternity to order drinks and then for them to arrive. When the wine finally arrived, it was a bottle of red and not the lovely white I had ordered by pointing to it. I decided not to say anything as I was not sure how long the right bottle would take to arrive and it was actually a really nice red. I ordered the battered cod to start and was really looking forward to it, especially as the next table had that also. They had two decent pieces of cod, but when mine came it was one small piece. If they had ran out, they should have said! My husband had the garlic prawns which usually have lots of thinly sliced garlic in, but this had whole cloves so the flavour did not penetrate the prawns. For mains we ordered the lamb shank and crispy beef. The crispy beef was soggy, and came out well before the accompanying rice and my lamb. The mash potatoes with the lamb were delicious, and the lamb well cooked and tender. However, it was meant to have some schewan spice which I could not taste, but came with a bowl of sauce which was the fat from the lamb. Could not be described as a jus! Turned out to be an expensive night for an average meal with poor customer service.

We visited last night as we had heard about the changes they had made. New decor inside, new chef and new menus. They have a day and night menu of the day as well as the a la carte, we had the Lamb Shank and the individual Beef Wellington, absolutely delicious. For those who love Ling's Korean Hot Stone, do not worry, that is still available. The only thing that has not changed is the courteous and friendly staff, a wonderful evening, thank you Ling.

Sitio con una terraza enorme, buena opción en tiempos de pandemia. La comida estaba espectacular y el menú super económico para la calidad y presentación de los platos: euros. Yo probé el bacalao el cual estaba delicioso. El personal es muy muy atento. Recomiendo este lugar.

Had a lovely meal here with husband and daughter, been here once years ago and service just as good as it was then. Staff friendly and efficient, food came out quickly and was hot and tasty!

Muy bien, son de confianza! Cenamos en Nochevieja, extraña decoración, pero buena comida que es lo importante. Ling sigue así pero pon un par de cuadros o algo haz algo!!!
