Went there last night for my honey’s birthday. Restaurant was extremely busy and appeared to not have enough wait staff. The waitress was extremely busy and took a bit longer to place our order, so much in fact that we asked for some bread and butter. The chef came to the table which was a nice touch and told us of a trout special, however by the time that we placed our order they only had one left, apparently they had only ordered 14 for the evening. Two members of our party ordered the hamburger and both were underwhelmed and had to request fresh French fries as the ones that they received looked like something from the bottom of the basket. We have eaten at Linwoods MANY MANY times. The dining experience we had this past Sunday night was pretty terrible. It was a less busy night for them than is typical. This made what we encountered all the more bizarre. The waitress assigned to our table came to the table only once...to pour water. She NEVER returned to take our order for cocktails or food, while she busily buzzed all around us serving other tables and avoiding eye contact with us. More than 30 minutes passed. I had to get the attention of another waiter to get some service. So very strange. The other waiter apologized, and took our order. We asked for the floor manager who also came out and apologized. Eating out today is expensive. Sadly, to many restaurants are underwhelming in today's food marketplace. Not Linwoods. Linwoods has figured out how to consistently serve delicious quality food along with top level service. My dinner and that of my two guests were delicious. I had a fantastic martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and onions which did not disappoint at all. Plus, our shared dessert satiated my sweet tooth. Dinner is not inexpensive. But, you can choose a fantastic hamburger or salad entrees which will not hurt the wallet. First time back since the pandemic. It was a wonderful experience and we will be going back. Even though it was very busy, the acoustics are so good that we could have great conversation without any problem easily hearing each other. There were four of us and we ordered a wide assortment of food. Every dish was great and they were very accommodating with substitutes! The alcohol menu was quite large but I was especially happy that they had an espresso martini made with Baileys and it was the best I have ever had. The service was excellent! Linwoods is always a treat to go have dinner. It is a lovely comfortable dining experience. Service is top notch. Was disappointed in the Maryland crab soup. Was heavy on cabbage, broth was thin and bland tasting. Asked for some old bay spice which when added did perk it up a bit. The special of the night entree was Trout and it was so yummy. Will go back for sure. Guess it was an off night for the crab soup.

We had a delicious meal at Linwood's. The food was sublime and the Sister's service was fantastic. Best French Onion Soup I have ever had , the sea bass was scrumptious and the banana cream pie was as good as my grandma's....which was awesome! Can't wait to go back.

Always a pleasure to dine at Linwoods. Roy, our server was attentive, helpful and gracious. The food was outstanding. The fried oyster appetizer was especially good. Our steaks were served as ordered. An overall delightful experience. My favorite county restaurant.

The Caesar salad with salmon was skimpy both on the salad and salmon, the steak salad was outrageously expensive for the portion size and the chicken was good but overly expensive also. Not the usually good Linwood experience and I probably will not go back. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was outstanding. My server was attentive and kind. She was very knowledgeable and understood the pace my guest and I wanted. The food was unbelievable! The trout, which is apparently new to the menu, blew me away. I will back very soon ?

The food was delicious, the service was great! I tipped extra because my husband and I had an emergency at home so we couldn't finish our dining experience for his birthday but our server and service was awesome!
