Lithuanian Plaza - Reserva de mesa

While I am no authority, I imagine this must be one of the best Lithuanian speciality stores in the US. And what a fantastic little shop it is to my eye, much more of a grocery store than a restaurant (as billed on Google). Chicago, of course, has a long and storied connection to Lithuania. It is wonderful to stumble into a destination establishment such as this, discovering countless authentic foods, some locally produced and others imported, and listening to friends and family discuss the events of their lives in their mother tongue. The store owner was incredibly friendly, and he and my brother enjoyed some wonderful conversations in Lithuanian. The prices are quite low, and there's a wide variety of products available. Once again, the owner was welcoming and helpful, especially to those who were unsure of what to choose. They also offer delicious hot dishes, although we arrived a bit too late in the evening to try them. You can find everything here, from wafers and crackers to candied and glazed treats, as well as fresh deli options for meat and fish.

Yeah I bought some products from this store. They have the best Lithuanian products under the sea and over the moon! I got Rūta brand chocolate here which is often times not easy or impossible to find. I also got speciality drinks that are not easy or impossible to source. The employees are quite standup people and are very nice if you need any help. This is one of few stores where I go for my Lithuanian products.

This is a fantastic spot for authentic Lithuanian cuisine. The establishment is clean and well-maintained, and the owners are incredibly friendly. The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Aside from Cafe Ruta, this is the only Lithuanian restaurant I have ever been to. Reserva una mesa ahora

It has been quite a while since my grandmother passed away, and I thought I would never find anyone who could replicate her level of kugelis. However, the chef at the Lithuanian Plaza truly exceeded my expectations—absolutely outstanding! This meal was a true rock star. Food: 5/5

The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of beers and some impressive Lithuanian deli food. They also carry a variety of hard-to-find items like unique breads and crackers. You'll find a great assortment of fish, sausages, and more. It's a delightful hidden gem!

Visiting one of my favorite shops when I'm in town. Great cepelinai. They have a good choice, including fresh cakes, cheeses and salads as well as sausages. My family has been here for at least 10 years to buy Lithuanian products.
