Little Basil is a charming little gem of a take-out restaurant that serves delicious food, located in the middle of The Village Mall plaza along Kedron. Food has always been fresh, and the lady who takes your orders and serves is always so kind. I'm usually quoted between 10-20 minutes for it to be ready (in off-peak times); but I'm sure the wait would be longer if during lunch or dinner hours. Crispy Orange Chicken is always my go-to dish here, and seems unique to Little Basil—I haven't seen it at other restaurants. A little too heavy on the sauce, perhaps, but it’s still my favorite. The Crispy Orange Chicken was delicious, although I'll definitely opt for a spicier version next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was outstanding; the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the medium spice level was just right. Both the fried rice and Wonton Soup were also very tasty. The soup dumplings are generously sized! The fried wontons are fantastic—light, airy, and crispy! The pork egg rolls were excellent as well. This was my first time ordering, but it certainly won't be my last! Thank you!
I love to order from Little Basil Morton. Deliveries are fast and accurate, and the food still needs a little time to cool off when it gets here, no cold plates here. The food itself is very good better than most of what's available outside of Chinatown in Philly. Vegetarian options: Vegetable based dishes are plentiful, you're not going to miss anything if you want to hold the meat or use tofu instead. All good. Service: Delivery

First time to order. I was very happy with the food. It was delicious and NOT greasy. Normally, I ask the restaurant to put the fried foods in a small paper bag but was able to do it on this site, but not necessary. Food was good

The best Moo Shu chicken I've ever tasted! I order it consistently because of its amazing flavor. I love that it includes slivers of snow peas, which are my favorite! I highly recommend it!
