After not visiting Little Bay since before Covid, we were curious to see if it was still the reliable spot we remembered. Our old friends, who are also longtime fans of the restaurant, treated us to lunch. We were pleased to find that the restaurant looked lovely and the menu was just as good as before. Our meal was served by a charming and friendly young waitress who brought out our delicious dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, although the only downside was the poor condition of the restroom for ladies, which desperately needs updating. My visit to this restaurant was absolutely amazing! I came here to celebrate my best friend's birthday and we were both blown away by the experience. The decor was unique and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Niamh, took great care of us and was incredibly friendly and hardworking. I started with the chicken wings and had the crab stuffed plaice as my main course. I would recommend getting a side of vegetables to complement your main dish, as I did not have room for dessert. The chef even made me a delicious salad to go along with my meal.
I don't normally write reviews but wanted to give the Little Bay a huge shout out. 5 of us ladies booked a table for our Christmas get together. We were seated upstairs. The food was delicious and the staff were so polite and efficient. Towards the end of our meal a large party came in for their meal. It became rather noisy so we were going to leave until a lovely member of staff took us downstairs to a quieter table where we finished off the evening with hot drinks. Thank you Little Bay for a wonderful evening if I could give you 6 stars I would.
This quirky little restaurant in South Croydon is an absolute gem! It has been there for many years and is a favourite of ours that we go to when we are in the area we live out of London now. The food is delicious and their set priced menu very good value. The staff are attentive and the establishment clean but a little worn. Parking IS difficult but with a bit of perseverance we did find an on street spot a short walk away. Highly recommend especially the Choux de Crab! Reserva una mesa ahora
June 5 5.30 6.40pm , experience was excellent due to accommodating friendly staffs never racist aside from a cosy atmosphere hidden gem reminds me of Florida 's Pirates of the Carribean theatre restaurant good value tasty well prepared food. I don't usually write reviews but I just have to say what a super lunch I had today at Little Bay. Food was perfectly cooked and the service was excellent. And all at a very reasonable price. I haven't been in there for twenty years or more but more fool me. I will be back now whenever I am in the area.
The salmon pasta had a strong soy sauce flavor and was overly salty, but the salmon was tasty. Unfortunately, the soy sauce was not listed on the menu. There was no follow-up from the staff to see how our meal was. The service was slow and our plates were cleared quickly without any interaction.
