Although the bakery side of the restaurant was closed, they still sold their delicious baked goods in the convenience store next door, which was open late into the night. They had a great variety of treats, so I grabbed some to go and warmed them up the next morning. The pastries were incredibly tasty and definitely worth a visit.
Came in on a Sunday super packed worth the wait. Had a very berrry kolache, and few others. I tried the chopped sausage but didn’t really like it and prefer the whole. I recommend the sausage with sauerkraut and their new spinach kolache. Would probably try their Rubens and some of their other sammiches next time.
I was driving down from Chicago and saw this restaurant on a billboard. My family is Czech so I was a little disappointed to find out that no one there speaks Czech. However, the pastries were so delicious that it made up for it, and I would definitely stop there again if I'm in the area.
