Little Jack Fullers

We were in search of a highly rated fish and chip shop that was not located directly on the beach, and we stumbled upon Fullers, a few streets away from the pier. We ordered a large cod (£8.50) and a large portion of chips (£3.95) to share. Despite the higher prices, we were initially pleased with our choice as the restaurant appeared to be busy and the cod was being cooked fresh to order. However, we were ultimately disappointed with the quality of the food. The cod, while fresh, had a thin and flaky batter that reminded us of school cafeteria food. The vinegar provided was watered down. The portion of chips, advertised as large, was laughably small - much smaller than what you would expect...

So glad we found this shop as the food was amazing and the choice for vegetarians was brilliant. We were the last customers (tip don’t turn up just before closing time as they stop serving maybe 20 25 mins before to give them time to get existing orders out) and I’m so glad we just got there in time. Massive portions, crispy batter, freshly cooked food with a fun (slightly zany) atmosphere. Haddock, goujons, calamari , halloumi and onion rings were fabulous eaten on the beach just a 5 min walk away.

Wow, I cannot express how incredible our experience was at this restaurant. The chips were the best I've ever had, the fish was top-notch, and the battered sausage was perfection. The curry sauce was amazing, similar to katsu sauce. The service was fantastic, and they even provided us with separate portions of salt and vinegar, catering to our preferences. Highly recommend this restaurant! In my opinion, it is the best fish and chip shop in Brighton, if not the entire country.

Was one of the best chip shops in Brighton. Sadly it no longer is, not just a blip either, as i gave them a second chance and if anything was even more dissapointed. Stale, barely warm chips, greasy batter on the fish and surly service. So sad, previously I'd of travelled miles out of my way for this place. C'mon Jack sort it out Reserva una mesa ahora

We visited this restaurant for their vegan menu and we were very happy we did! The no-fish dish was the best we have ever tasted in that style, and the jackfruit scampi was delicious with a lovely texture. The owner and staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

In rep.y to your claim that the staff member had a lolly in their mouth rather than an unlit cigarette, immediately after serving me at the till the staff member went outside for a break and lit the lolly

Terrible rude service, terrible chips, and burnt scampi. Americans making British chips, with attitude. Overpriced and inedible. The skinny girl with the terrible attitude with the cap should change jobs

Great vegetarian options, and the chips were perfection. Very generous with the amount of sauce they provide. Service was friendly and polite. Would love to come back here again! Reserva una mesa ahora

Poor. Owners attitude even worse. Was a regular but recently thr food is poor, portions tiny, prices increased and management rude.
