I ordered a BLT on sourdough bread and when I asked for just mayo, the server gestured toward the condiments and seemed to ignore my request. Instead, she spread mustard on the bottom slice, then piled on pesto and garlic on the top. Someone spoke up for me, reiterating that I only wanted mayo, so she tried to cover the mustard with a generous amount of mayo. When I expressed my disapproval, she just waved her hand over the condiments again. Then she pulled some bacon out of the microwave, placed it on the bread, closed the sandwich, and wrapped it up. This place is really sweet and perfect for a quick lunch. If there is no line and no one in the line tries to adjust a great order. The sandwich manufacturers are really fast. There is a wide selection of ingredients and hot and cold options. All sandwiches are made in front of you on the line. It is small inside and things can be quickly cramped. The only complaint I have is they use low quality, paper thin, already boiled bacon. I would be willing to pay more for a superior quality bacon cooked in the house. Even decent bacon can be produced in the microwave they have inside.

This is the best sandwich shop I’ve ever been to! I always choose the turkey sandwich on dutch crunch bread with all the fixings. If you’ve lived in San Francisco for a while, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Every time I walk by, I make sure to stop in. My whole family adores this little gem. I know they have other locations, but this one has the best flavor. When you order, be sure to get everything on it, especially the garlic sauce with the dutch crunch bread!

We always order the Hotbird and the Turkey sandwich. The bread is consistently fantastic, regardless of what you choose, and the sandwiches are huge, loaded with delicious meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables. My sandwich was great but my husband received ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Pepper Cheese on a Dutch crunch and it came without any of the listed standard sandwich condiments and veggies, without bacon, and on the wrong type of bread.

The sandwiches arrived with many more ingredients than what was described on the menu. They were delicious and oversized, but it would have been helpful to know exactly what was included in them.

If you prefer the size above the taste, you will like this place. Basically you get two meals when you buy a sandwich. The line can be 1 hour, it is not worth it. Order online if you can.

Got the tri tip among other sandwiches and the tri tip was LIT. Definitely recommend!!!
