Stopped in for lunch on our way from calgary to Fernie and did not enjoy it at all. Our waitress was not too welcoming nor friendly and seemed to be quite stressed. It was not very busy and there were a couple servers working. The guy at the table next to us was complaint about the long wait. Took about an hour to get our food and when we did it was disappointing. The bread on my BLT was stale and hard, could not eat it. Fries were soggy, limp and raw. Cheese burger was good. Way overpriced for the quality of food and service we got!!! Not once did the server check in to see how things were. When I went into pay I saw kids (around the ages of 7-9) hanging out in the kitchen, chefs in training perhaps? Will drive bye and not waste my money next time.
We were out for a weekend drive with friends and found this restaurant in Longview. Very friendly and welcoming waitress, cozy restaurant and 2 different menus to choose from. The published menu is more casual everyday or lunch menu and the chalkboard menu was their yummy dinner menu with house specials.I would recommend the lamb or steak, both came over vegetables, both had unique sauces and the food was delicious.We will visit again!
We stopped here by chance on the way to Banff from Waterton National Park. Everything about the bistro was amazing. I had their vegan burger which was exceptionally tasty along with a delicious salad dressing on my side salad. My husband was equally impressed with his burger. All fresh ingredients served by a friendly staff. We'd definitely recommend this bistro for a great dining experience.
Stopped the Monday of the August long weekend directly after they were slammed with a big crowd. The waitress was delightful and honest about situation so we relaxed and waited a while for our food over a cocktail. Chef brought the very good food out with an apology. Worth the wait so good and loved that the facility was conscious and apologetic of wait. I will go back.
