To be honest, I was somewhat disappointed during my visit. I had heard so much hype about the perogies that I was eager to try them. However, perhaps it's because I'm a regular at the Polish restaurants in Hamtramck, but I found what I received to be underwhelming. We ordered a variety of perogies along with two sides of kielbasa, but everything was just thrown into one box. It was hard to distinguish between the different types, and to make matters worse, the perogies were a bit too soggy for my taste. While it’s a decent option if you’re looking for something nearby, it didn’t live up to my expectations at all.
Just like how my family makes it! We ordered some to take home, and they were absolutely fantastic. Honestly, the best I've ever had that wasn’t made by a family member.
Little old shop,but excellent homemade pierogi's with assorted stuffings, Crepes,and of course a good old fashioned hamburger. from out of town,and a must stop to eat!
Got them cold for only a dollar a piece. Haven't been there for a while. Were a little smaller than I remember, but still very tasty. Will definitely be back.
