I visited Little Szechuan in Little Silver NJ on 5/19/2024. I have been coming here with my family for the delicious food, wonderful people and lunch specials for over 20 years! However, new owner has taken over and I had a terrible experience on 5/19/2024 and previously since new owners. On Sunday 5/19/2024 I arrived around 1pm with my family and me. We sat down and tried to order lunch specials. The waiter says there is no lunch specials on Sundays. I wanted to ask, Is this new? but I said ok. I was thrown off guard by the information given to me as my family and I specifically comes here for the the lunch specials. We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant on Father's Day. They offered us the lunch special and even took a family photo for us. The staff was very patient, and the food was fresh and delicious. They surprised my little one with soup and a plate to share, even though it wasn't included with her meal. We've been here before, and we'll definitely be back! It’s very kid-friendly—they even provided ice cream for my child!
Prices online are much lower than actual prices. Our order online totaled less than $50 but once called in the order was over $60. For example the sweet and sour chicken is actually $3 more than it shows online. That aside all the food was mediocre and the edamame was inedible. We threw it out. Way overcooked soggy and half the beans were not even in the pods. Too much money for the quality.
My family and I visited this restaurant, and everything was outstanding. Our server was fantastic, and the food was delicious! We all had a wonderful time, and our meals were cooked to perfection. They even treated us to some extra rice. The waiter was very attentive, frequently checking on us and ensuring our water glasses were always filled.

Took Out. Nothing gotten right.Ordered soup main dish Spicy steamed tofu.NO spice or Seasoning at all, fried tofu,NO sauce. Only cornstarch oil salt sugar.They were Not busy, place empty, onlymy takeout on table. They obviouslydid not bother communicating directlyw/ the cook At All.
We have been ordering for a few years and the food was always great. Past 2 times we ordered it has not been good. The food just isn’t right, tastes like burnt plastic. Also protein dishes don’t have much protein in them. Disappointing as it was always so good before!
When the original owners were in charge, the restaurant was fantastic. Now, however, I don't feel confident in the food. There have been multiple closures and poor communication over the phone, which is why we no longer visit.
I love your food but the service Monday night was awful. The young man was amazing. The young girl was clomping around in boots. The boy just seemed to be more on his game in fact I tipped him also he needs to train her

Prices are way too high! Food was not that good. Ribs were the length of my pinky! No chicken in house lo mein??? Beef schezuan was all veg and less than a third meat. Paid over 70 bucks and was completely disappointed.
