Little Thai Princess

I'll start by saying that I love the food here. It's an amazing place for vegetarians with the restaurant offering vegetarian alterations for most of their curries and all their soups. From the starters to dessert the food is delightful. Definitely not your average Thai restaurant - this is gourmet and unusual. My favorite dishes are the Salt and Pepper Tofu, Yellow Curry and Pad Thai. For meat eaters the Green Lake Chicken and Panang Lamb are great too. However, the service sometimes falters... There are a few regular waitresses who do a good job, but there always seems to be someone new there who doesn't quite know what's going on. There are often miscommunications. We had been to this restaurant on previously and expected a great night. We were disappointed. We were seated ( in a half empty restaurant) in the doorway where the takeaway customers entered. It was very cold. Other tables in cosy corners were empty all evening. When my husband said I was cold we were greeted with a smile and a giggle. Not great service.The food portions rare very small. The red curry duck had hardly any duck in it and the mixed vegetables were a limp selection of very few veges. It was over priced average food. We will not be returning customers!

We went here with high expectations after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. While the food and service were reasonably good, we were a bit disappointed, particularly with the dessert menu which was limited. We ordered Banana Fritters (in desperation) and had to send it back as it appeared to be frozen and thawed, and inedible.

As a group of six on a midweek night ,we found the seating hard and the service slow. The entrees were fine,the beef and duck curries exceptional and the salt and pepper tofu worthy of a return visit. As it is BYO we thought the night very good value. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is one of our favourite restaurants as conversation is easy the menu extensive and the food excellent.Ny gripe from our most recent visit was that with a party of eight our main courses cam out over a fifteen minute period

The food itself is good. I won't say it is amazing, but fairly good. The advice is great. Pad Thai Noddles is 20 something, which i think is a little bit expensive comparing to most Thai restaurant in Melbourne.

Great food - I recommend the fried fish! Not 100% true to Thai food IMO (some dishes taste a little sweeter than they "should"), but that is probably true

After passing this place on the train everyday for a couple of years, I am happy to say I finally got to try Little Thai Princess and it lived up to my Reserva una mesa ahora

Always very good Thai food hidden in a pocket of Glen iris . Masaman curry and green chicken always a big favourite .
