First restaurant to head off to after the Covid lockout was a family favourite Vietnam 501. A no frills, down to earth, all about family and food eatery. The moment you walk in the door you are warmly welcome, if you are new or a regular.<br/ <br/ The ambience is not one of a typical 5 star restaurant. It’s a bit tight for space and at times noisy, but that’s true of restaurants in Vietnam. It’s a good sign as you get a sense of people connecting and feeling of ease. <br/ <br/ Then menu is focused on wholesome good food full of flavour. Great to finally have a Vietnamese restaurant in Hampton. Oanh James are doing a great job. Friendly service by all super tasty, fresh food. We've had 5 trips to Vietnam it is a pleasure to now have some of our favourite dishes close to home. Love the rice paper rolls, dumplings, beef in betal leaf, Vietnamese pancake, bun cha whilst they don't have a dessert menu they whipped us up some banana fritters which were great! You will enjoy your visit without a doubt. Make sure you have a Vietnamese 333 beer as well!

This is truly the BEST Vietnamese restaurant in Melbourne! The spring rolls are the most delicious I've ever had, and the Vietnamese pancake is absolutely divine. The three sisters who run the place provide exceptional service with genuine warmth and friendliness that you rarely encounter in restaurants. You need to go as soon as possible—you won't regret it! Love you all!

We have dined here multiple times and have always left satisfied! While the menu is somewhat limited, they are more than willing to customize dishes to suit our needs. The staff is friendly, always recognizing us and making us feel special.

I have gone there several times and every time the food has been great, the staff are really friendly. I also loved the fact we get to have the sexy birthday singer singing happy birthday for special occasions.

The service here is fantastic and friendly, and they serve some of the best and freshest pho in Melbourne. If you don't eat meat, the vegan pho is absolutely amazing!
