Lix Frozen Custard

We attempted to get ice cream on Sunday, July 23, 2023, after visiting Critter Lane. I checked their hours online and drove over, only to find the door stating they open at 11:30. We waited outside while a young lady inside signaled with her fingers that they were closed. After waiting for 10 minutes, she finally informed us that they don’t open until 1:00. It would be helpful to either put up a sign or update the hours online—ideally, do both.

We moved forward to pick up our concretes, but to our disappointment, we weren't offered lids, and the cups were overflowing. To top it all off, the coffee concrete still had Heath in it despite our request for it to be removed. I usually enjoy Lix, and their customer service is typically good, but today’s experience was truly disappointing.

The toppings are great, but the chocolate ice cream doesn’t really taste like chocolate. They served it in a container that caused it to melt quickly. However, the service was good.

The temperature was in the low 70s. I ordered a vanilla cone, but it began melting everywhere on my hand before I even left the parking lot. The ice cream should have been colder. Reserva una mesa ahora

This might sound perplexing to some, but the custard here is just as fantastic as HANKS! I'm so grateful you saved me from a 16-hour drive. Absolutely wonderful!
