Dropped by the weekend for a quick lunch. The lady at the register was like a rookie, we tried to clarify the terms, like grilled and bbq, white and dark meat. The cook behind was jumping in, trying to sort out the communications. Realized they charge extra, almost for any substitutions as opposed to some of their fellow competitors. I decided to stay as it was. The order turned out not as I expected, the appearance was off, a little too burnt, or too much charred matter. I suspect their grill was not cleaned as supposed to be, with much residue or accumulated substances. Ended up it was a forgettable experience, I had to throw away some portions of the meat. The quality of the food was disappointing. I had high hopes since it had been a while since I last ordered Hawaiian cuisine. The prices are quite high considering the offerings. I might have been okay with it if the quality matched the cost. To start, the chicken was unfortunately inedible; it was chewy and seemed undercooked, lacking proper grilling. The BBQ short rib was also unappetizing, being overly soft and mostly fat. The macaroni was the standout item on the plate. I didn’t try the shrimp, but I heard it was decent, not exceptional. Honestly, I won’t be returning; I would choose to skip this place next time.
This restaurant used to be a great spot to enjoy a meal, but unfortunately, the food has lost its flavor. Additionally, they are reluctant to provide BBQ sauce even when you specifically request it for BBQ chicken, despite the restaurant's name featuring "BBQ." Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.
Food is delicious and the staff are so nice and helpful. They were able to help me in a punch with a pretty hefty order and I was able to serve my crew without any hiccups. They all raved about the good food! Thanks guys!

This L&L is the best around. We come for dinner and have also ordered trays for catering parties here. The trays are heaping full and the food is always a hit.
