L&l Hawaiian Barbecue

Usually come in here to pick up food. There's always a nice young man taking orders and when not, he's cleaning and has great customer service. The cooks are also friendly and great to see everytime. Only reason I marked down 2 stars was this horrible experience I had with this female worker a couple weeks back. I came in ordered my food while I was waiting I got up to order something I forgot. First order came out and I was waiting over 30 min. For my second order. I have worked customer service before and didn't want to be rude or hurry her but I did stare at the cook. He told her an order had been waiting for a while and that it might be mine. She said no, she got her food. Then I got up...

The staff was nice but the store was filthy. None of the tables, chairs or benches were wiped down. My feet even stuck to the floor. Thr moco loco gravy was good but the burger patties were rubbery, as if they were cooked hours before and then got warmed up for service. The short ribs were so flat and dry and almost black, they looked as though they'd been sitting in a pan under a heat lamp for two days. The windows all across the store were dirty and smeared up. I'd hate to imagine what the kitchen or food storage looks like...

So someone who visits Seattle area almost yearly recommended this place. I think most of the items are authentic Hawaiian Japanese cuisine? I ordered the Chicken Katsu which was nice and crispy. Portions were quite generous.

The broth in their saimin is absolutely incredible—rich and flavorful. The Spam Musubi is generously sized and expertly wrapped. I always leave feeling satisfied; the cooking is outstanding! Reserva una mesa ahora

I had been craving Hawaiian BBQ and L&L certainly hit the spot!! Their portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable. I loved my chicken Katsu!
