L&l Hawaiian Barbecue

The food has been much better In the past. Ordered mini fish plate, fish was mushy under cooked. It tasted like everything else that had been cooked in their deep fryer. Tasted like everything BUT fish. Service has declined also. Probably due to the employees talking playing amongst themselves rather then taking care of customers. I?ll watch other new reviews to decide if I?m going back.

They are the OG's when it comes to Hawaiin and they still serve the basics. With that being said I'd wish they'd update the place. It looks like an eyesore and is falling apart inside out. Most other places like Ono offer better menu items and are much more updated

This was a door dash order. They put hot ribs on top of cold mac salad. Who does that? To save a container? Ribs were not bad, just very little meat. Mac salad was warm and lacked flavor. Very disappointing.

The bbq short ribs with the three bones in them was too chewy. I love their macaroni salad, the rice and teriyaki sauce. I wish I would have gotten the chicken katsui like I planned.

This L&L is on my regular dinner rotation. I'm a fan of the Kahlua Pig with lots of cabbage. They are friendly folks. The food is cooked well and tasty. Give them a shot!

Friendly staff. Huge portions. Had the Katsu chicken and was very good. Their building is kind of run down. Could use a better location.

Ordered door dash ribs and Mac. It was terrible. Meat was fatty, gristle and thin mac said was flavorless. First and LAST experience.

Visiting Sacramento we were craving Hawiiaan BBQ. This place was delicious a d the food portions are huge!
