We are Italians and usually never eat at Italian restaurants when traveling abroad. However, after two weeks of French and Spanish food, we ventured for dinner here. The place is quite small, just a handful of tables, and this is already a good sign. We are greeted by a very gentle French girl offering to speak Italian to us. Her Italian is very good and we enjoy talking to her. The menu is not too rich, another good sign in my opinion, and she explains it to us very well. We chose tuna tartare, mozzarella (quite good) and ham, rigatoni all'anduja and saltimbocca alla romana. the restaurant does not have a mine at first sight but they are often the best restaurants! Inside we got the right to a cucumber tomato gaspacho and burrata. How to say? I'm not a fan of gaspacho but it was perfect! seasoning was just as it takes to bring out the taste of food. and the melting burrata. a pure feast!on then chained on a dish of paste. the ultimate test: the pasta was al dente! for the moment a faultless! I couldn't leave without tasting the tiramisu! The cream was very yellow (the waitress explained that it is because they use Italian eggs qpparefully very concentrated ) it was creamy, with a lot of taste! simply the best Italian restaurant in the city. I have been intrigued by many commendable comments on this restaurant. So we're going with friends for a week. The kitchen is good but unlike others I found it classic, it didn't leave me a memorable taste. this restaurant is nice to trinquate with prosecco and spend a good time.
