great pub! nice eating, great portions, beautiful pint and cheap. the staff is top notch and the service is great, the staff are always ready to share a bit of sharpener as they serve them and are very attentive. we regularly go to Sunday dinner and at our last visit my 6 year old ordered crawl for her dessert (which costs only 99p) and she asked if she could have a banana with her. they had no bananas, but the personal went mainly to the local shop and bought her a banana. that is now the service. our favorite pub, as all family inc the dog is greeted, can not praise this place enough

great Victorian samuel smith pub serves excellent eating. friendly management and personal feel always welcome and at home. one of my favorite red car pubs
