We have been meaning to try Local Crowd for some time as the previous reviewers have given it a great rap.So, Saturday morning we arrived and found a table inside. First impression? Noisy!Now I know that is quite common with places that have little or no furnishings to deaden sound, but the cacophony was just too much, so we bagged an outside table.The highlight of our visit was the wonderful service provided by a lovely young lady who was right on with her suggestion of adding egg to my order of the mushroom special with added bacon. My family went to the Local Crowd cafe this morning for breakfast. Given the limited vegetarian options on the menu my daughter asked if she could substitute mushrooms for pancetta on one of the dishes. She was told that they could take off the pancetta but they she would have to pay the extra $4.50 for mushrooms despite bacon and mushrooms both being priced the same on the extras menu. She thought that this was unreasonable and declined. When paying the bill I suggested to the manager that they should be more flexible with customer's dietary requests. He responded with the bizarre analogy that if I ordered a burger at Mc Donalds I wouldn't expect to be able to change the lettuce for somethi...

Friendly waiting staff seated us inside ( outside was full).Services was quick and efficient.Offer nice fresh fruit juicers - mint and apple; orange, carrot, ginger & appleServes are good size for brunchMenus has interesting offerings - different to many other cafes. Breakfast offered all day.Prices are reasonable.Very popular for an out of the way location that can not be seen from any main roads.

My daughter and I decided to try this establishment for lunch. They were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, we also took my 9 month old granddaughter. They were so accommodating getting us a table were we could easily put the high chair. The food was fabulous and what an AMAZING selection of fresh cakes. Super coffee too. We will be back. Lovely breakfast and fabulous coffee, have been many times and never disappointed. Mr Chattypants sometimes gets the coffee order slightly wrong, I wish he'd write it down. There's nothing heroic about not using a pencil and paper, that said, what he lacks in order remembering, he makes up for in charm.

Decent food and coffee. But had to wait for more than half an hour - about 45 mins (can't the staff move any faster?) and everyone who came in after us got their food first. Tried to be understanding seeing that the cafe was crowded but the food didn't really make up for the wait.

Four of us for brunch. Took a while for the reserved table to become available. Orders were taken quickly and efficiently. All plates were good quality, well cooked and presented. A credit to the kitchen on a busy day. Staff were attentive and unobtrusive.Great for brunch.

Great choice of dishes and each one has a unique twist - a surprise and a good one. Went for lunch on a week day and it was busy, a good sign too.There is a small selection of Italian wine, an extra if your work day can accommodate such imbibing. Reserva una mesa ahora

We found the service exceptional and the food very tasty. The menu is a little different from the usual eggs bene, which was a welcome change but they still cater for the less adventurous. Look forward to go back for round two!

Popped in to the Local Crowd for breakfast. Had a wonderful meal featuring good quality ingredients cooked with passion would highly recommend for a coffee or a meal. Good service and friendly staff.
