My fiancée published last time we were here where we did not cook a less than par experience with our burgers properly since we had heard that the kitchen was under new management and decided to give Local in Branford a second attempt. We had Chelly as our server and she was phenomenal! Very attentive and explained the special menu without hesitation. When my fiancée couldn't make a choice and asked what was better, she gave her honest opinion and not just what was most expensive. I have a burger and she has one of the specials of baked lobster Mac and cheese... The burger was a perfect medium rare (in contrast to the last time) and it was juicy, mouth water and let me want more. The lobster...
My fiance and I went last night for dinner and drinks. Our bartender, Vanessa, was extremely attentive and never let sit for more then 20 seconds with an empty beer in front of us! The draft list has something for everyone and Vanessa was very good at suggesting beers based on our taste. The menu is full of tons of different things, we had burgers and ended up splitting them cause we both wanted to try each others, they were awesome! We will definitely be back!
I really enjoy Local 's Pint Night Thursday night. The best server is Chelly. She knows how to make a normal visit great. She can explain any product or recomend, she really cares about her customers, and you go out of feeling pampered. The A team in the kitchen brings together some amazing food and the beer list is excellent. Go on!
My first time I drove around a million, I'm glad I stopped. My wife loved the fish and chips and I had the best burger I had for a long time. The Calamari as an app was also delicious. The waiter was very attentive and fast. The food came quickly for 6:30 a.m. We are already planning on our next visit.
