Local Yocal Bbq Grill

Saw this place on the show The Daytripper and decided to check out after a market in Old Town Mckinney. It was so beautiful on the inside. Felt very upscale. The sausage was amazing. The brisket mac was better than I ever expected and the collard greens are a must. We tried the chocolate mousse dessert as well. It was not as rich as most mousse desserts which I appreciated. Also the smoked piña is a must. I need to try the shrimp and grits next time.

We have dined at Local Yocal quite a few times and they never disappoint. Wonderful customer service by May! She deserves a raise! Delicious food, the best Mac cheese with brisket and burgers. My husband prefers the Hamilton. So happy we decided to go here for lunch!

Great food, drinks and ambiance. Our table had the pimento cheese appetizer and the jalapeño cornbread. Both were amazing. For my meal I had the waygu sirloin, mac and cheese and the garlic mashed potatoes. Everything tasted great.

Atmosphere great, got seated right away at lunchtime on Saturday. Service for food wait wasn’t very long. However for the price, the presentation was good but food was disappointing. Very salty.

I had the brisket and rib plate. Decent portion wish I could have chosen the sides. Definitely a great bbq spot!! Also has a full bar if your into that kinda thing!
