We arrived at 12 (which is when this restaurant opens) to a very grumpy member of staff who had a permanent frown and muttered to themselves in French as they got our tables ready. This person seemed less cross when we next saw them, but...it certainly didn 't make for a relaxing dining experience. We ordered our food from the extensive menu, which is in English, and I went for a galette with cheddar cheese and some other fillings. Unfortunately my 'cheddar ' was simply a slice of orange burger cheese, and the fried potatoes were in the galette rather than with it, as the menu implied. My food was consumable, and even fairly enjoyable once i had gotten over the disappointment of the cheese,...
When we arrived the restaurant was relatively empty and remained so. We ordered drinks and crepes but the waitress was clearly irritated that we didn 't want to order more. The restaurant was about a quarter full, but we then waited a ridiculous amount of...time for both our drinks and food to arrive just getting our drinks would have calmed our growing irritation. None of the staff smiled and from the moment the waitress huffed when we placed our order, we got the impression that they really didn 't care about their customers. I hope others get a better experience, but there are a lot better, and far more friendly places to eat in the centre of Pont d 'Ouilly.
we arrived here without booking. Unfortunately, the restaurants are going a very bad time with few visitors and in the evening we did not go out with just two other people while we were there. However, the restaurant was...selected as normal with all tables ready for customers and a full menu choice. the greeting was warm, eating fresh, well presented and very tasty. there was a good wine selection and the prices were very reasonable. a very pleasant evening and I wish the restaurant success this year.
I escorted a group of 25 people recently and stopped at this restaurant. Situated off of the main road, but overlooking the river the location is perfect as too is the food. Not fazed by the number of people, this was only restaurant which didn't...require my group to pre-order. The portions are large and the food is very fresh. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Eaten here many times always enjoyed the experience. A charming pleasant family with Italian ethnicity I believe. Grumpy staff are no longer in evidence, the food is better than adequate the cost is reasonable. The restaurant is usually well attended The French...are very much in evidence which would not be the case if the food was not consistently of good quality.
OK, it was a Saturday evening and the place was very busy but the service was appallingly slow and we eventually got fed up with waiting for our coffee and left. I think other parties were equally fed up. Food was not bad when it...arrived but expensive for what it was. Good for families with young children as there are play areas with bouncy castles, slides etc.

dreadful eating said the waiter that eating is poor and he just went away. bring us into the corner and make sure we were last served. the chicken kebab chips and salat ordered. no salate was erected, had a kind of red meat with last. of fat on and chips looked like they cooked 5 times. all the French diners meals looked really good.

One of the few places that stays open past 8:30. We stopped here for a family meal and weren't disappointed, the salads are excellent as are the pizzas and good sized portions. Well worth a visit.
