Called in here as the pub looked lovely from the outside and we needed some lunch. The staff were quite slow, stood for around 10 mins (even though the pub was empty) before waiting for someone to come over and seat us down. We ordered a steak pie and soup. The soup wasn't bad, although I was told it was tomato and sweet potato, then overheard another waiter say it was ccarrot and sweet potato. My husband had the steak pie and said it was the worst thing he has ever eaten. It was very watery and the meat wasn't nice. Food was average, I wouldn't eat here again but it was ok for a drink.
Stayed at the Loch Lomond Arms a few weeks back while attending a wedding in the area. We arrived early as attending a wedding however the rooms were not ready so had to wait until we returned after midnight to get our room. The room was clean, compact, had everything you would need including toiletries, tea/coffee, water etc. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was ok. Service was a little slow and the continental offerings were average. We ordered some hot food and it was good. The staff were nice and provided tea/coffee when required.
My family and I were able to secure a last-minute reservation on a Sunday, just an hour before the restaurant closed for lunch at 4:00. Despite the short notice, we didn't feel rushed or pressured. The service was laid-back and welcoming. We started with the bread and chutney appetizer, which was delicious, especially the pickled onions. My wife and I both ordered the haggis, which was amazing. Our children also enjoyed their meals from the kids' menu. If you have the chance to dine here, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.
Excellent food and great customer service. This is a lovely pub restaurant, all the basics but with some additional ‘posher’ food if that’s your thing. We went one night then booked again for valentines evening and it was lovely. The tacos were superb. The soup really tasty and the crab salad and salmon fresh and cooked beautifully. The service is good, they are happy to help but don’t hassle you. The fire, the candles and the general ambience (including the fab smell of woodsmoke) is lovely.

My friends and I spent a night at this charming hotel on February 19th, 2024 to celebrate all of us turning 70 this year. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant, with generous portions. The breakfast options were also excellent, with a great selection of continental and hot food. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you, Margaret Kay.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The accommodation was excellent, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious! The light and crispy batter on my fish was absolutely fantastic. The Eggs Ecosse breakfast was also delicious. I highly recommend paying a visit and we will definitely be returning soon.
The pub itself is lovely, roaring fires comfortable sofas and great beer. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing and really tasty. I did however feel the staff could of been more attentive, we had to ask them to clear our table of empty drinks, and there was no small talk, not even a how are you doing or what brings you to Luss
My wife and I had a lovely overnight stay at the Loch Lommond Arms. We stayed in the Colquhoun room which was spacious, clean and comfortably outfitted and had nice views. Check in was easy and both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very good and in a warm inviting space.

All three of us said the same thing about this place, CLASS. it just oozes class, from the staff to the beer... but most of all the food. Simply devine. Best visit of our weeks stay in Scotland.
We tried Haggis for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant.
