Lockbox - Reserva de mesa

Lockbox has a very impressive bourbon list and our appetizer, vegetable and cod entree were very delicious. However, the strip steak was poor. It was cooked as requested, but had so much fat and gristle that after I could not chew three bites, I set the knife down and gave up. The steak was the most expensive entree and this cut should never have been served. We were there for New Years Eve and stayed at the hotel so let bygones be, well, bygones. I think many other items on the menu are quite delicious. And don’t forget the Boubons!

Visiting the area and wanted GOOD food. Don?t miss this restaurant if you are in town for anything. Portions double plus what u would have in Boston for same price! The baby squash appetizer? was my dessert! Great service interesting and good vibe decor. Don?t miss it! And no, I didn?t know anyone here! So happy to find it. Thank you Lacey for your recommendations on the dishes! And ah? the corn crusted oysters and sauce just perfect!

First let me start by saying all the food that we ordered was good. I just wish there was more options for main courses or at least a steak that did not involve fries. The menu over all was just kind of odd. The desert we had was the olive oil cake and I could not tell if it was good or not, it just did not have much taste. The space is nice and the staff was very attentive. I just think current menu needs some additions or tweaks.

We had one of the best fine dining experiences in Lexington recently, at the Lockbox. Our meal was a very pleasing culinary experience. The service was excellent thanks to Ruby who also answered all of our questions with ease. Ambience was lovely. Noise levels allowed for easy conversation. We will be back! This is the best brunch in Lexington. I had the pork hash and banana bread. Both were incredible. There’s tons of art on the walls. Drinks are on point. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a brunch on Saturday. It was a nice restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. There were a lot of cute penguins!
