DE (English below): The small vegetarian café on the edge of the city centre of Münster offers many vegan cakes. Cookies are vegan, the cake is not. Since it seems to be a criterion for some customers to decide against, the holder does not mark the cake accordingly; on request it turned out that at the time of our visit a single cake of pancake was not vegan. She was very helpful. The principle: order at the counter and then sit, the drinks and food are brought quickly, later pay at the counter. We were five there and tried a total of three cakes and found all sooo delicious! Also the milk coffee with oat milk and tea was according to our taste. There are in the curly bird, like in many places in Münster, the regional Liba-Limonades. Overall a nice café where you like to spend time When we are back in Münster, we are definitely back! The Cafe Lockvogel is a beautiful and charming café with a very friendly, alternative and peaceful atmosphere. We were in Münster twice a weekend (Octobre 2022). The service is performed by the owner himself in a quiet and efficient mode. It offers 3 hot vegan dishes (i.e. quiche, soup) and a variety of cakes, most of them vegan. Everything we ate was delicious! Especially the cakes were beautiful, even the coffee. Prices are significant. We will gladly return to Münster to visit the Cafe Lockvogel again.
Beautiful and sweet little café in Münster Downtown with an amazing and very modern atmosphere and decoration. They serve vegan quiche, cakes and also some breakfast options. The cakes we had, however, were relatively small and not too special. That's why I found it a little expensive (4-5€ per piece of cake). The staff on the other side is very friendly and the café collects money for non-profit organizations.
