Wir waren auf der Durchreise und froh, ein Restaurant gefunden zu haben, das auch nachmittags die Küche geöffnet hat. Dank schönen Wetters saßen wir im großen Biergarten. Außer uns waren allerdings kaum andere Gäste dort. Wir haben Wurstsalat mit Bratkartoffeln und Putenschnitzel mit Pommes bestellt. Das Essen kam zügig, war allerdings eher eine Enttäuschung. Die Bratkartoffeln waren lecker, die Pommes nicht durch und der Wurstsalat nicht nur sehr fettig, sondern schwamm in Essig. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich.
We were on the road and glad to have found a restaurant that opened the kitchen in the afternoon. Thanks to beautiful weather we sat in the large beer garden. Besides us there were hardly any guests. We ordered sausage salad with roast potatoes and turkey cartations with pommes. The food came fast, but was rather a disappointment. The roast potatoes were delicious, the pumice not through and the sausage salad not only very fat, but in vinegar. The service was attentive and friendly.
Keine Hunde erwünscht, dann eben nicht. Haben erst die Hundekacke von anderen Hundebesitzern weggemacht, um dann von einem Rüpel von Koch (Chef?) auf unfreundlichste Art wieder hinausgeworfen zu werden, weil einer der Hunde kurz bellte. Das Beste: außer uns waren keine Gäste im Gastgarten, die wir hätten stören können.
No dogs wanted, then not. As soon as the dog jackets were removed from other dog owners to again bark from a cripple of the cook (head? in the most unfriendly way, because one of the dogs short. The best thing: apart from us, there were no guests in the guest garden that we would have disturbed.

Wir hatten am 31.12.2015 einen wunderschönen Silvesterabend mit hervorragendem Essen, sehr aufmerksamer Bedienung in entspannter Atmosphäre im Löwen. Die Menüauswahl war bei sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis perfekt. - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder!
At 31. December 2015 we had a wonderful New Year's Eve with excellent food, very attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere in the lion. The menu selection was perfect with very good value for money. We felt very comfortable and come back safely!
