Löwen - Reserva de mesa

Gasthäuser in the countryside usually offer traditional Swiss food at fair prices. While visiting the beautiful Emmental region I stopped for lunch at Landgasthof Löwen, which proved a very good choice. I sat in the Heimiswiler Stube cozy and nicely decorated room. Thumbs up to Nadia (one of the three owners) for her smiling, attentive and efficient service Swiss hospitality at its best. As starter I chose the Nüsslisalat (lamb 's lettuce salad) with poached egg and fresh mushrooms. Good seasoning and very tasty. We were so excited about the event eating like it was 100 years ago. It was a big disappointment from A to Z and then way too expensive. The waitress's daughter literally missed her job and was so unsympathetic. It took a whole hour until the salad was served and then we had to wait another 50 minutes until the main course was served. The Perdestroganoff menu was ordered by several guests and everyone enjoyed it unbelievable. The perde entrecote was also so tough which probably explains the length of the waiting time. Sorry, but with the best will in the world we can't imagine anyone going there a second time. A pity.

So was von genial und innovativ! Wir haben das Abendessen und auch das wiederum äusserst freundlich und aufgestellt servierte Frühstück sehr genossen. Einfach ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Das Essen und der Wein waren ausgezeichnet. Herzlichen Dank der Küche und Jeanine für den sehr sypatischen Service im WoMo.
