Logis Auberge De L'isard

We have eaten in this Auberge fairly regularly over the past 6 years and have always enjoyed the food. We are lucky to have a house next door and having now moved here permanently I felt it is about time I reviewed the restaurant. As stated food excellent, locally sourced and prepared well by the chef. The meal we had a few nights ago was the menu prepared for the regional gastronomic competition and all I can say is that the starter was the best I have ever eaten to date it was a trout mousse with a crayfish sauce fantastic and they deserve to win just on that alone. Anyway the menu was fixed with a the starter as mentioned main, cheese then dessert all the rest being excellent price 25 euros about 20.50 in pounds and in england it would be up in the 50, 60 pound bracket. My daughter and son-in-laware coming to stay next week and we will behaving that menu again. OK am l biased yes but good food is good food and this Auberge deserves recognition and praise for its food and compliments to the young chef

We stayed with our friends who live next door to the Auberge and went for a meal on our last night. We had the Menu d'Arierge which was 23 euros for 5 courses. All the food is locally sourced and very tasty indeed. After an amuse bouche we had a wonderful creamy mushroom soup. WE then had tete au veau or a tartine, then local trout or veal, village produced cheese and delicious creme caramel or chocolate fondant cake. Amazing food for an amazing price. There is also menus for 18 or if you are very hungry 32 euro. All looked good. We were looked after by the owner Florence and we can't wait to return to see our friends and eat again here! There is also a lovely bar roadside where you can sit and watch the world pass by whilst having a drink.

Hello, we spent a weekend thanks to a wonderbox, very good reception, correct room, meals with local products, brief a very good evening. Supplement of € 22 per person requested and which seems quite correct given the increase in the cost of materials and energy I recommend

We spent a great time with friends in this great restaurant, with a very pleasant welcome, menu with well varied local products, generous portions, reasonable prices, we recommend! And with a riverside terrace and quiet!
