Having seen positive reviews about L’Olive and impressed by the photos posted on its website, my wife and I booked a table for two on Sunday 3rd March looking forward to enjoying a Sunday Roast. Sadly we were bitterly disappointed! We should have realised that all was not well when on arriving we discovered that we were the only two bookings for lunch. Hardly encouraging, but as we were well received by the staff and liked the ambience of the restaurant we decided to persevere. It started well with a lovely starter of smoked salmon which was a generous serving, well presented and delicious. The unfortunate problem eating in Spain is that ‘fine dining’ means something totally different from its useage in London As a family of 7 had reservations for L’Olive at La Reserva for Christmas Day. Beautiful setting and have even been there for drinks in the evening! However if you intend opening a restaurant to the public, it would be advantageous to KYC..... if it is to be kepnpurely for the Golf Club... then do that! We arrived at 1.30 for Christmas Lunch and the food which was available was inedible.... I can only imagine that the Buffet as laid out, had been there since early morning.... it was more like a Breakfast Buffet!!! They did have available a little turkey, but not sufficien...
Habíamos leído sobre un cambio en la propiedad y que este era el lugar para comer. Gran casa de clubes poco amistosos que parecen más interesados en mostrar que buen servicio. La comida era media y el vino muy caro y no una lista de vinos muy imaginativos. Diseñado para extranjeros que no tienen idea de lo caro que es este lugar para Andalucía! ¡El viejo lugar era más honesto y menos exhibido! Recomiendo el Real Club Sotogrande para una mejor experiencia en español, donde la comida es excelente. No volveremos.
Afternoon tea on the terrace was a wonderful experience and the perfect event for our more mature hen party! The location is beautiful and the food tasted just as good as it looked. A special mention to the staff, who made us feel very special and coped admirably with a last minute notice of a gluten-free member of the party.

Me encanta este lugar, increíble terraza frente al golf, el camarero era muy agradable, nos recomendó buen vino, la comida muy buena y sabrosa, y no tan caro para el lugar. Teníamos el angus entrecote negro y el bacalao crujiente. Delicioso
La comida en este restaurante es verdaderamente deliciosa. El ambiente es inigualable. El arroz caldoso con alcachofas y boletus estaba espectacular. Después de 18 hoyos, es un placer disfrutar de una buena comida. ¡Muy recomendable!
Tuve la oportunidad de almorzar con 6 amigos en este lugar. Excelente lugar, excelente servicio y excelente comida. El servicio fue rápido y la comida estuvo genial. Próximamente comenzarán a ofrecer servicio de entrega a domicilio.
