Loma House Vegetarian Restaurant

Edmonton seems to serve up multiple options for vegetarian/ vegan food and Loma House is another fine add to the list.It's tucked away in the south part of the city, so ideal if you have just driven in from Calgary, or on the way out of Edmonton. The seating is rather intimate and cozy, and there is ample parking.I have just found them and started sampling off the menu but the customer service is kind and the interior decor is classy. The prices seem reasonable and my initial venture there was pleasant and I found the food well-presented and tasty. It was mid-range between Padmanadi and Veggie Garden, so a good compromise. I went into Loma House to grab a bite before an appointment. It did not disappoint. The menu is vegan and I really dislike fake meat but everything was delicious. This was not a good vegan restaurant it was one of my favorite chinese food experiences in Edmonton. I highly recommend. Also the man at the till was so incredibly nice! He made me smile for a good 30 minutes after I left.

I have not eaten meat in over 10 years, but seldom seek out vegetarian restaurants. After trying Loma House, it quickly made my list of regular haunts. The food is so fresh and packed with flavour! I even liked the fake meats I tried (very unusual for me), especially the spicy "beef." Even my omnivorous husband loved it, and looks forward to our next foray to the south side.

One of the lesser-known and out of the way vegetarian restaurants in the city. The food is always good and reasonably priced. There's a selection of frozen entrees you can take home and they do a lot of takeout business. Simple, clean and cozy dining room. Every dish we've tried has been delicious and fresh. We had not heard of this restaurant until this morning. We checked out their website and ended up there for supper tonight. What a great experience! The food was excellent and the restaurant (including the bathroom) was very clean. So many things on the menu intrigued me so I am sure we will be back. What a nice find!

Absolutely loved it ! A must if u and ur pack is vegetarain and yet wish to enjoy chinese food . Great variety , amazing taste , homely service . A must to have at a weekend some times .
