This restaurant is seriously my family's absolute favorite! I always love bringing friends here whenever we're in Long Island. The sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken are incredibly delicious. This is not your typical Chinese American food, believe me! My personal favorite has to be the Hunan chicken; it has a fantastic kick and amazing flavors. What I appreciate most is the variety of dishes offered—every time I try something new, and I’ve loved everything so far! Plus, they have really good sushi. It's a wonderful family-owned restaurant with excellent food, quick and friendly service, and a clean environment. I give it a solid 10/10. So good!
Wife had sushi here said it was OK. I had wings(hair on them) weren't really crispy and tasted off. Pan fried dumplings and steamed buns were over sized ,but I just didnt care for any of the flavors. Unfortunately this was not a hit at all with any of the typical american chinese staples. I'll give another try, but not a great experience this time.
I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, which used to feature fresh shrimp that was floured and fried. However, now it seems they are using frozen popcorn shrimp from a bag. I can easily find that in the freezer section of the store, so I won't be ordering this dish again.
I ordered dinner around 9:30 PM, but the rice was undercooked and hard. The sauce for the chicken and broccoli was too thick and gooey. I definitely won't be returning. I spent over $40 for this poorly prepared meal.

When I tell you that this Singapore was delicious. I mean every bit of those words. The best Singapore in Long Island. Please come. My son ordered boneless spare ribs and he said it was GOOD.
The General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice are excellent. However, the white rice can be a bit dry at times. The pan-fried dumplings are tasty as well.
Long River is fantastic! I was a bit unsure about trying their sushi, but I'm so glad I did! It was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious!
Best Chinese food and sushi in town! Great service and love the owners. Always 10/10 whenever I go!
