So I will start out by saying to be fair, that the kitchen was probably completely overwhelmed because it was super busy, And on top of that we had a large party. Two tables, with a total of 23.That being said, our server, Nyasia, was very good, and handled her part in things well.The food was ok, however, my husband and I ordered New York Strips. If I could have left ZERO STARS, I would have. I can't even rate the food because NO ONE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED OUR PRESENCE at the hostess podium. There were several employees there who COULD have helped us, but chose not to. They simply stared at my husband and I and either kept doing what they were doing, or walked past us without saying a word. Thursday, October 12, 2023. 430PM. Whoever was working on that shift has NO customer service skills, and did not care about helping anyone. We stood at the hostess podium for 9 minutes and left after not even being greeted. RUDE.
Visited LongHorn last week. This was one of my favorite places to go for a steak. Service was good but the food has gone down a bit. I ordered a medium steak. The steak was well done in the middle but the edges were medium (can't figure that out). I think it was cooked on a flat top because there were burnt pieces all over the steak that looked like the flat top needed to be cleaned and they couldn't be scrapped off. It was not cooked on the grill. Our waitress was nice and accommodating. She may have been the only server during that time but she did a good job.
It was my daughter's birthday so we came to enjoy a great meal. Walked in and wasn't greeted. We stood for quite a bit before having to ask for a table. The Host wasn't pleasant So when we get to the table... mind you the restaurant isn't busy it's lunchtime...we sat ungreeted and again had to ask for assistance. It wasn't until the server came to deliver good service was the experience bearable ?

This Longhorn is not the same. The staff were nice, mannerable, and visibly stressed but to be clear, this place is UNDERSTAFFED. We overheard that there was only 1 chef on duty for their busiest day of the week. My steak was cooked Well Done but I asked for Medium. Couldn't even enjoy it. Sadly, I just let it be.
Service was good food was good until it came to the chives. The chive on top of one of the appetizers did not digest at all and gave me terrible tummy aches until I puked up full chives. This has happened before due to vegetables not being washed properly before serving because of bacteria/chemicals on them.
Definitely within the top ten best steaks I've ever had. I said at the bar, and the staff was not as attentive as I would have liked to have seen.
This was the first time I have ever in my visits here that the service was good and also the food. Kudos to you ?

The restaurant was very crowded during my last visit, but I really enjoyed the house salad.
The food was great and the service was outstanding.
