Longhorn Steakhouse Roanoke

We dined here on October 30, 2021, and it was an amazing experience. They told us there would be a wait of half an hour, but we were called to our table in just 5 minutes. For our appetizer, we had the Wild West Shrimp, which could almost be a meal in itself with nearly 50 shrimp; they were so delicious we couldn't stop eating them. They also serve bread and butter, and the beer selection was excellent. I ordered the 18oz T-Bone for only $25, and it was thick and cooked to perfection. My companion had the Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad, which was fantastic; we had it before and loved it. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The salad was fresh and very good. The bread is ok but you do need a sharper knife to cut it with the steak knife isn’t quite sharp enough and you have to saw at the bread for a while. The steak was “medium well” and a bit pinker than it should have been, it was very soft and flavorful just not cooked correctly. The sweet potato was not as warm as you would expect it to be so the 4 stars for the food not being as warm as it should be. Not sure if it sat out for awhile before it was brought to us or not. Wow! Great experience. The service was excellent and the waiter was friendly. Even my parents were satisfied and that's not easy. They had the ribs. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and the side salad was one of the best I ever had, cool, fresh, crispy and delicious. The baked potato was perfectly cooked and really good with the green onions and all. Even the water was large, no chlorine, obviously filtered. We'll be back.

Good filet, cooked as requested. There was gristle in at least four bites, which I can’t say I’ve had happen anywhere before. I didn’t complain because they were exceptionally busy and the steak was good otherwise. Service was very good also. Sides great, Merlot good. All around nice choice. Go ahead of rush time. Love this place. My new favorite. Good drinks and great steak. Wonderful and friendly staff and excellent customer service both times ive went this week! Food is so delicious and they cooked my steak to perfection. Please try this place out if you havent been here before or are deciding on a dinner/date night.

Was slow getting waited on but the tables had been swapped by servers. Once that was figured out everything was fine. Had the steak and shrimp. Both were tasty. Steak was cooked as requested and very tender. Shrimp was not overdone and had a pleasant taste. Enjoyable meal!!

I visited this restaurant for a date night, and while my steak was decent, it was quite small—even for a 6oz portion. However, my husband’s dish seemed better, and the desserts were absolutely incredible! I also loved the starter bread.

Best place to eat in valley view area. Grab a great steak or a salad for lunch. Either way you won’t be disappointed. I have not had a bad meal here yet. They do get very busy so you may want to come early but it’s worth the wait. Reserva una mesa ahora

The steak was incredible and cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Dakota, was very attentive and friendly. The cheeseries were delightful. Although it's pricey, it's definitely worth it!

Perfectly cooked, Pittsburg rare style. Service was awesome. Food is always fantastic. Bartenders are great! You must try this location!
