At our WoMo tour along the Loire, Cher etc., this abbey was one of the highlights for me!!!! Absolutely worth visiting. The history is unusual and impressive. The plant as a whole is exceptional. Even if the heart of Richard Lionheart is to lie in the cathedral of Rouen, his tomb and his wife is very impressive. This abbey should not be missed.

Excellent restoration of the abbey, which is superb. Have at least 2 hours to visit.
