Nice pub, a dj on tonight playing some classic tunes. Dressed alternative as usual and no trouble from any patrons. Everyone is friendly. Saw some people with food and looked good. Will have to try some and update my review. Toilets clean, bar staff friendly and welcoming, had a few nice and well kept London pride ales and also there is other ales on tap, alongside some larger and spirits. Saw they kept a good selection of wines. Feels like a local boozer but nothing wrong with that, my kind of place. They have a disabled toilet and access entrance and also plenty of space to manuvvre a wheelchair around inside along with wheelchair accessible tables to sit at. Mens toilets were clean. Area outside for smoking/vaping or just general seating.

Love this pub! The mew managers Lou and Colin are fantastic, very friendly and approachable, very lovely people! Bar staff amazing!! Welcome back Chelsie!! So good to have you home, and the lovely Shannon, Jess, Aisha, Chole, Jack. Amazing staff. Please come along and say hello! Always a friendly atmosphere great severe and good food!!

I have been to the Lord Nelson several times for different reasons each time I have been pleasantly surprised. Had a Sunday roast last minute thing. Was not bad. Been for quiet night very pleasant also been to enjoy a fun night. The Nelson delivers it all. Glad to have it as my local.

I had a really good time when I came down with my mates, karaoke was so good on the Friday and the staff has exceptional service. Will definitely be coming again

Nice outdoor seating, can’t wait for summer sun and beer, 5 item snacking menu is the best! Must try.. Okay Sunday Roast….
