Turned up for my step dads birthday and the restaurant was completely empty, in hindsight we should have left straight away. There was only one waitress on and she looked like she was trying to keep busy, but wasn't bothered to clear our plates. When ordering our meals, apparently they ran out of creamy mash they have on their "sides" section of the menu so I had a dry potato rosti and a thick, disgusting bernaise sauce with my dry (non) crispy skin salmon. Overall, pretty boring and bland. Definitely not worth the $70 we paid.

my tipp is to order the standard pub speciality menu I ordered pork belly, which came with roast potatoes and broccolini. roasted potatoes were excellent and cooked for perfection, but the broccolini was yellow and for that it was by its best, which does not improve its taste and texture. the pork belly presented itself well, but had no taste and was stiff as rubber. to the luck have put the spuds on a good show. no problem while ingesting for a lunch, but I will not choose the bistro menu again.
Without doubt the WORST meal I have had in Brisbane! That they can charge top pub prices and present low standard offerings should be against the law. I ordered Barramundi that must have been imported and then fried direct from the freezer. The accompanying chips and salad were dour and unimaginative. I didn't even bother trying to eat it. Avoid unless you need to vomit

Have been enjoying some very tasty lunches specials are great and the menu also delivers enjoyable fare, definitely a kitchen that takes pride :)
