Does what it says. Good sized pub with a decent array of real ales and on tap lagers, cider etc. Order at the bar with your table number and away you go. The service is decent and pretty quick. I would book for a Sunday lunch, especially for families or groups as I suspect it's rammed. The carvery is good value and the veg is really good quality and loads of it. I've not tried anything else from the menu but the portions look good and no-one ever seems to be complaining.If you are really looking to finish yourselves off then get the sharing Cream Sunday. Kids eyes were huge when they saw it and the bellies were afterwards as well! Overall its exactly what it says. A great value carvery pub for family and group outings.

although very busy, it managed to book within half an hour, which is surprisingly good. all the workers were polite, eating was good! saw immediately and wait less than half an hour for eating. everything was wonderful, I had a mix of small plates that I really enjoyed. only the thing is not to end the desert (as was so full), but it was called an ultimate Sunday from a ground! highly recommended, traditional pub, with some super modern foods. in any case go again!

This was a midday meal. Full carvery, fantastic and only cost just over £6.00. Where else can you get this? Great staff. Nice and clean. Staff clean table and menus after being used. Staff always come and ask, is everything ok. Toilets very clean. You can't be to careful theses days. Good size car park. Don't worry they have other meals on their menu besides carvery. Visit and tell me what you think.

nice pub. easy to find and park. good couple parking nizza inside. teppich is a bit old, but works. some outside the square and room to sit and some things for children. always had many places to sit when iw was to eat. eating was always nice and warm tasty. can order from the table. what is a good bonus. the staff are always there as friendly people.

Lovely pub, we've been a few times now, we like the carvery they serve here. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because every time we've been the staff take a long time to clear the plates away. But overall good service and would visit again
