This place was wonderful! We came across town from The Grove (where we were staying in St. Louis) and it was completely worth the trip. All of our dishes were delicious, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere was better than expected. When traveling in St. Louis, we will be back as this has become a family favorite. Highly recommended and will be coming back.Kid-friendliness: They have everything from meatballs to spaghetti and any Italian fare for children.Dietary restrictions: I have a fish allergy and they made sure to help me with that. They provided no cross contamination and made my food separately.
Last night I had dinner on the Hill at Lorenzo’s Trattoria. What a meal! I started with a salad made with tomato and fresh mozzarella, red onions, capers, Kalamata olives, fresh basil covered with a red wine vinaigrette dressing. This was a real pleasure!My entree was a perfectly cook angle hair pasta with a balanced fresh tomato sauce, basil and shaved Parmesan cheese. This entree was a delight!The service was of the highest quality. The wait staff was friendly, enthusiastic and attentive.If you’re on the Hill, this is one restaurant that you shouldn’t miss.
We’ve been going to the Hill for years, but never dined at Lorenzo’s until last evening. The photos don’t do justice to the cozy dining rooms and bar area. Staff is very friendly and Antonio was an excellent server. Our family were five celebrating a 25th anniversary. We had Eggplant Parmesan, Polenta and a pizza for appetizers. All were very good. The house salad is delicious as were our entrees. Osso Buco, Veal Risotto, Gnocchi, Angel Hair pasta and Ravioli all very well prepared. Good wine list and just a lovely dinner experience.
Last night, my friend and I had a fantastic dinner at Lorenzo's. The house salad was so light and tasted amazing! We asked if we could buy some of the salad dressing to take home. The owner was very nice and made that happen for us. We also had their spaghetti with beef Bolognese. The Bolognese sauce was very rich and had such a deep flavor. It was delicious! Our server, Matt, was wonderful and it was an overall lovely dining experience. We will be back for certain!

Fantastic service. Seated immediatelyâ¦we did have reservations. Food and wine was great! Wish there would have been a cocktail menu. The only thing listed was wine.
Excellent traditional italian. Delicious food, high quality ingredients, freshly prepared, served hot, huge portions. Perfect service.
The portion size for my $22 meal was ridiculously small. Tasted good but ridiculous to pay this amount for such a small portion size
