AN EXCELLENT MENU DU JOUR ON THE ROUTE DES GRANDES ALPES When you are tired after a flight into Geneva and are making your way to the lovely village of Morzine in the French Alps, you may have had enough of twisting around the mountains and think that it would be a good idea to stop for lunch before you get to your destination. The Route des Grandes Alpes is so beautiful that you need to stop just to give time to let the scenery sink into your mind. 3 couples went for casual lunch from the 14.90 e menu of the day. Small but tasty buffet of entrees Men had faux fillets ladies veal stew enjoyed by all . Choice of 2 deserts again enjoyed, water bread pitcher of red and rose wine and coffee included. Very good value for just under 90e for 6 people. Nice atmosphere friendly service from waitress and chef. First time here but will come again.
