Server could not be more rude or incompetent. Gaucamole was plain with chips..no salsa given which was supposed to be included. Delicious! Finally, a true taco experience! My husband and I are from Tucson, AZ, and we definitely know our Mexican food. We had almost given up on finding anything worthwhile to eat in this state, but this place surprised us with some fantastic tacos! I tried both the chicken and steak tacos, while my husband enjoyed three steak and chorizo tacos. We had been searching for a good Mexican restaurant for far too long. After passing by LATYT countless times, I now regret not trying it sooner. If you're looking for a place with free endless chips and salsa, this isn't it. However, if you're in the mood for authentic, homemade Mexican cuisine, you should definitely visit ASAP. Don’t be put off by the modest decor; it’s worth it. I had the Chicken Fajitas, and they were delicious! The freshly pounded chicken breast was accompanied by perfectly cooked peppers and onions, along with rice and refried beans. The portion size was generous, and the handmade corn tortillas were a nice touch. Be sure to ask for the green salsa and enjoy!
I'm giving a one star because that's as low as you can give. We were there for 50 minutes, never received our food and service was horrible. Their were lots of (what appeared to be) mexican men who were very loud and drinking alot. Music was very loud also. Had to ask multiple times for drinks and the free chips. The waitress could barely hear what I was saying and the prices were high. A small queso, was $8 approximately 2-3 oz of watered down white cheese. Chips were hard and over cooked. We paid for our queso and drinks and left. Waitress had an attitude about it. Also the drinks were bottled sodas and $4. We will not return .
Excellent Mexican food, not the Americanized Tex amex served at most restaurants. It’s next to the Mexican grocery store with the same name enter the grocery store. My wife had the chicken taco salad, and I had the shrimp tacos. While we were not too adventurous, the food being served around us looked amazing. We will return for the whole fish dinner it looked great.
Takeout tacos for a group of 12 people and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We got meat by the lb and they included tortillas, salsa, onions/cilantro/limes. Everything was perfectly packaged to prevent spilling in the car and was easy to serve.The carnitas was phenomenal and the red salsa is smoky and amazing.Ate so fast that we didn’t get a photo before it was devoured!

The more I ate, the more I enjoyed it. It felt a bit intimidating as a non-Spanish speaker, but everything turned out great. The flavors were unique, and everything was fresh and delicious. There's a store nearby that sells a variety of Spanish and Mexican products. Overall, the food was excellent, and the staff was polite and welcoming.
