Los Hernández Tamales

We had the lunch special. Two asparagus and cheese tamales served with a green salsa and a red salsa. Very fresh and very hot! The red salsa was a little spicy and the green was milder. We bought frozen asparagus and cheese tamales to bring home. Great service and delicious food!!

Really excellent tasting tamales is a very simple setting. I wish they were open just a little later so we could have enjoyed eating inside. It’s mostly a take out place, but the tamales are really good! The asparagus tamales were my favorite

Known for award winning tamales they are darn good, but not mind blowingly so. I ordered a plate with fixin’s at the location in a very down to earth setting. Bought some to go as well and they were good.

Delicious as always. We plan our trips through town to have tamales for lunch. The highlight today was we got to meet Senior Hernandez. He's such a gracious gentleman.
